The City of Rockland Public Services and Crooker Engineering wraps up the Old County Road North project. After successfully completing the scope of the Old County Road South project, Crooker Construction provided an opportunity to improve the remaining portion of the Old County Road (OCR) north of Route 17 working in conjunction with the Rockland Public Services Department. Rockland City Council decided to capitalize on the opportunity to cost effectively improve the remaining portion of OCR. The work to this section of road consisted of reclamation and paving, as well as installation of two stormwater culverts and additional drainage work between Route 17 and Lake View Terrace. Total cost of this section of road improvement was $119,350. The final course of pavement was put in place as of June 20, 2017.
