Residential Revaluation Notices Sent

1:31 pm in Assessing Department by Roxy LaFrance

KRT Appraisal has completed the residential revaluation for the City of Rockland.  Notices have begun to be sent out to property owners informing them of their change in valuation.  Please visit KRT’s website for a complete list of residential values by owner, location, or MBLU along with list of the vacant land and improved residential sales used to develop the new valuation model, and frequently asked questions and answers.  These documents can also be found on the Assessing Department’s Documents page.  The notices have information about how to request a telephone hearing if taxpayers want to ask questions or contest the new valuations.  KRT Appraisal can be reached at 1-855-228-4033 weekdays from 9 a.m – 4:30 p.m. to schedule a hearing.  The proposed new values are based on an analysis of sales from April 1, 2018 to April 1, 2020.  Commercial values have not yet been determined, but will be available soon.
